🚨 VIRAL NEWS SNIPPET: “Mackenzie Shirilla: The 100 MPH ‘Common Sense’ Defense That’s Dividing Ohio”
Shared by: Karen M. - Parma Heights Resident | 3h ago
My jaw hit the floor when I finally watched the new documentary on Mackenzie Shirilla. Everyone’s talking about the “murder for insurance” angle, but can we talk about the driving?
The Snippet That Broke the Internet:
In the doc, an “expert” tries to explain how a 17-year-old, with zero racing experience, allegedly pushed a Camry to 100 MPH in a residential zone, hit a curb so hard the car flew, and then blamed “panic.”
Common sense says: That’s not panic. That’s physics.
Here’s what every parent I know is screaming at their TV:
- “No panic brake mark.” If you panic, you slam the brakes. The car had no brake lights. That’s a foot on the gas.
- “The ’logic’ is illogical.” The defense argued she was a “good kid” who made a “split-second mistake.” My grandmother could tell you: a split second at 100 mph in a neighborhood means you’re aiming.
MY HOT TAKE: This country has lost all common sense. We’re treating a straight-A student like she’s a physics anomaly. She drove through a wall and killed her boyfriend. You don’t need a PhD in psychology—you need a driver’s ed instructor.
Comment if you agree: Lock her up, or is the internet overreacting? 👇🔥
