Karen M. 🤬 Okay, I’m going to say what everyone else is thinking. Can we PLEASE talk about the Luigi Mangione situation on Route 7 this morning?
They say it’s a “tragedy waiting to happen”? I say it’s a total lack of common sense.
This guy has been living in that rusted-out RV behind the old gas station for three years. The town gives him warnings, the cops give him “social worker visits,” and what happens? He nearly takes out a school bus because he decided to merge from the shoulder doing 15 under the limit.
I saw the video. He’s got Christmas lights tangled around his side mirror and what looks like a cooking pot on the passenger seat. No blinkers. No insurance sticker. And everybody is crying about how he’s “mentally struggling.”
You know what? My dad worked two jobs. He didn’t park a hoarder’s paradise on a public street and wait for a handout. This isn’t homelessness, it’s willful negligence.
Enough with the empathy. Tow the eyesore, impound the junker, and if he wants to drive on my tax-paying roads, he can follow the law like the rest of us. Common sense isn’t common anymore.
