Just saw the announcement about the new Harry Potter TV show recasting and I honestly can’t believe what I’m reading. They’re actually going to replace Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint with… someone else? Who asked for this?!

So now we’re supposed to pretend some new kid is Harry Potter? Common sense says if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Those actors ARE those characters. My kids grew up with them. My grandkids are watching the same movies. And now some Netflix-era producers think they can just “reimagine” the Boy Who Lived for woke points?

Don’t even get me started on the rumored “diverse casting” nonsense. The books were set in 1990s Britain. Period. Why can’t they just LEAVE THINGS ALONE? What’s next, a Hagrid who’s actually a drag queen? A Hermione who’s suddenly a computer hacker?

This is just another cash grab from a franchise that can’t stop milking the nostalgia cow. They’ll make it dark, gritty, and full of modern political messaging that has NOTHING to do with J.K. Rowling’s original vision.

Absolute joke. Do better, HBO. My family is officially done if they mess with the trio.
